Generally speaking, the service drop is the bundle of overhead wires that runs from the
utility company's street pole to the point of attachment on your house or business.
However, in industrial buildings for example distribution centers, they would need some
120v/ 20amp for staff members to plug in their computer or other equipment, they call
that service drop also. We installed both of them.
